The Story

Like many people from a normal working-class background in the UK, I was stuck. I had a keen interest in property investment and a desire to build real financial freedom, but the gap between an average UK salary and the capital needed to get started felt like an impossible dream. For me, the solution required a drastic change. In 2019, I made the strategic decision to move to Abu Dhabi, leveraging my 11 years of experience as a teacher in the UK to secure a position that trebled my yearly salary. Combining this new income with serious frugality, I bought my first investment property that very same year.

The Proof in the Project

The first project was the litmus test for everything that would follow. We took a run-down, two-bed terrace in Greater Manchester and, with my trusted SJB team on the ground, transformed it into a beautiful, modern home. The result was more powerful than I could have imagined. After the refinance, I was able to pull out all of my initial investment to rinse and repeat.

That wasn't just a successful deal; it was the moment I truly understood the power of Property Investment.

The Evolution to SJB Property Group

Fast forward through a whirlwind five years, and that single blueprint has been successfully executed time and again. We are now seven projects deep, having built a robust portfolio of high-performing BTL and HMO properties.

This proven success naturally evolved into SJB Property Group. Other investors saw our results and wanted in. Tired landlords saw the quality of our homes and wanted us to manage theirs. Today, we not only manage our own portfolio but also manage properties for a select group of clients and work with private investors to co-fund our next wave of projects.
